![]() ![]() You get deeper watering and it's cheaper than city water. I must ask, how could you have overlooked that or just assumed? I always asked while looking for a home because I like to garden and keep a lush yard and you are correct that it is MUCH better. Interesting, I just bought my first home in the Phoenix Homesteads historic district and many of the homes have irrigation here as well but not all (including my own) Was flood irrigation something that was done later during the ranch era? Or did these areas used to have flood irrigation that was then torn out? I sure wish I had it, sprinklers suck. I guess I assumed most older neighborhoods in PHX have it, but now that I think of it, I don't recall seeing flooded yards in Willo, Roosevelt, Encanto Palmcroft, Coronado, etc. 15162 Posted Today, 1:25 AM hollywoodcory Registered User Join Date: May 2017 Location: YYC Posts: 2,665 UA is also adding YYC-IAD, less than a week after WS announced it. Those are huge cuts.So now that Im living in Willo I've noticed my yard doesn't have flood irrigation. To them it's the cost of doing business, they probably make that in revenue (ticket sales) for just one flight. Keep in mind YOW and YUL are going from 5-6x last summer (and 12x pre-pandemic mostly Dash 8 with 1-2 daily 737s) to probably 3x 737 each this summer. And these routes were removed entirely:ĭon't know the frequencies on those, but seems like a decrease overall. With these changes, it is a net increase of 13 flights. These are the only YYZ items:Ĭalgary – Toronto Increase from 81 to 84 weekly (Exceeding 2019 level) YYZ was the only one that posted some reductions, and was barely mentioned in the whole article. YVR, YEG, and YYC all had significant additions (not just new routes, but restoring frequencies). It would be crazy if YEG overtook YYZ for 3rd spot. Last time was in December and YVR overtook YYZ for 2nd place, but YYZ was ahead of YEG in 4th place. Need to update my flight count for WS at each airport. AC's YYC-YXT at 2x weekly?! AC never ran Jazz routes like that before, sub daily was rare on any Jazz route). Airlines are launching routes but starting conservative, even more than before (ie. But limited frequency route pairs have become more prevalent since COVID I feel like. The domestic adds are nice too, even if limited frequency. It was really a no brainer in that they are filling some DL vacancies and also strengthening other services. Certainly scored them points in Edmonton after years of adding YYC and nothing else. Granted, some of the transborder is just replacing DL, but still, they didn't have to do it. Good for WS for stepping up and adding YEG service, it's about time. ![]()
