I used high res photos from Charlotte’s newborn photo shoot for both the front and back cover of my notebook. The Erin Condren website makes it easy to upload photos or graphic artwork from your own computer and format them to achieve your own unique look. I decided to order a Create Your Own Design cover for the gold coil notebook I picked out to match my baby planner. I think this layout will work nicely with what I have in mind for the notebook. It includes six colored sections, which can be used for note organization if desired. I opted for the lined version, which includes a standard ruled page with a playful color block header flag on the left side and a divided to-do list/task manager on the right. I had it customized with my name as a nice touch. It’s a fitting message for a notebook I hope to use for planning future content and ideas related to my online posting. The inspirational quote on the front is a great reminder to keep an active imagination and follow your dreams. The rose gold coil notebook I ordered came with a beautiful light pink cover. There is a total of 124 pages (62 sheets) in both sizes printed on that amazing 70lb paper that Erin Condren planners are known for. The notebooks include an interchangeable laminate cover as well as a page of flag stickers. I love the Erin Condren Life Planner coil and this one is the very same, just a bit smaller for better portability. Both sizes come standard with a 19mm coil in either silver, gold, or rose gold (prices start at $15 and vary depending on notebook size and coil color choice). The new TakeNote notebooks are available in both an 8.5″ x 11″ size or my personal favorite, the all new 7″ x 9″ which is the same size as the Life Planners. I customized each one accordingly and just love how they turned out. I thought it would be nice to have an accompanying (and matching of course!) notebook to go with each planner. I currently use the rose gold coil as my personal planner and a gold coil to track my daughter, Charlotte’s development and day-to-day goings on. I decided to order both a gold and rose gold coil notebook to match my two Erin Condren Life Planners. They’ve just arrived and I thought I’d share a look with you! I was immediately smitten with the new 7″ x 9″ spiral bound notebooks and decided to order a few custom ones for myself. Recently I shared a look on Snapchat at a press box I received including Erin Condren’s redesigned TakeNote notebook and journal collection. I can’t walk into a stationary shop without seriously considering adding to my notebook stash. I kept notebooks throughout my academic career and adulthood not just for school but also to record personal goals, thoughts, ideas, and even correspondence between friends. I was that kid in school who actually liked note-taking. I’ve also always been a fan of taking notes. I started my first diary when I was 8 years old and have kept up with a (mostly) consistent journaling practice ever since. I’ve been a notebook and journal lover for as long as I remember.
